Fantastic Fungi Foto Contest

Join in to celebrate fantastic fungi and enter for a chance to win some great prizes! Find out a few great photo tips for shooting mushrooms by professional photographer Joern Rohde.

Our Fantastic Fungi Foto Contest is back, but a little different this year!

Instead of sending your photos via email, we are keeping it all on social media, to flood our socials with our local fantastic fungi 

How to enter:

• Post a fabulous fungi-related photo to your Facebook or Instagram account.

• Follow @whistlernaturalists on the platform you post your fotos to.

• In the caption of your post (must have a public profile) tag: #FAU2025 and #whistlernaturalists

• Photo must be from the Sea to Sky region and taken by YOU after Sept 1st, 2025. 

• Multiple entries per person allowed!

Submit your fungal snapshots by 11:59 PST, October 13th, 2025

By entering, you consent to WNS potentially sharing your photo on social media, FAU Talk Night, and our website with credit. Remember! Be mindful of your impact on the fungi and the surrounding nature if going off-trail.
