About

History

The Whistler Naturalists Society was formed in 1999. The Society was created to fill the community's desire for a group dedicated to natural history education. It branched off from the Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment (AWARE) that has more of an advocacy role in the community. The Whistler Naturalists Society is made up entirely of volunteers who meet roughly once a month throughout the year.
